BIO

Jongsu Kim is a student in the Combined Master's-Doctoral Program in Biomedical Engineering at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea, under Professor Sung-Phil Kim. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Factors and Computer Engineering from UNIST. His research focuses on Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems using EEG and biosignals, with interests in developing biomarkers, studying cognitive processes, and exploring decision-making and emotional states. His notable work includes a study on task-relevant stimulus design for P300-based BCIs, aiming to improve accuracy, information transfer rates, and enabling plug-and-play functionality, making the system calibration-free.
